Beaches at Caju?

The Caju region had not just one, but three beaches: Praia de São Cristóvão, Praia do Caju and Praia do Retiro Saudoso. They were filled in over time and finally ended in the 1970s with the construction of the Rio-Niteroi Bridge and the expansion of the port. Learn more about this story.
